Dance Class and Hayride

Here are some pictures of Em "dancing". She is getting a little better. As long as she is having fun that is all that matters to me.

Em had a 3yr old Sunday School Hayride this past Saturday. We had hot dogs and were pulled
by a tractor on a trailer filled with hay. Em and El had a great time. When we turned off the road to get their house we went over a cattle guard and then a long drive way up to their house on top of the hill. When we crossed the guard there were cows all around us. Em was excited looking out her window and the cows being so close. El got excited and pointed at them when we were on the hayride. When we went out on the hayride we saw about 7 deer in the back of the field. We actually got pretty close to them. Here are some pictures of our time out there.

"Cinnamon Butt Bread" for anyone?

We are home safe and ready to get back to "normal". Monday was a day off of preschool and a day to do nothing, PJ day for Em. She was in them all day long. She just played and had fun at home. When B-Daddy came home we did get out after dinner to go see my in-laws new house they are building. They are at the fun stage where every day something new has happened. They are installing the cabinets and trim. It is looking so nice! I let Em go in her pj's since we weren't planning on running into anyone. All in all it was a nice quiet day.

Now getting to the title of this blog. I send B-Daddy to the store Saturday night for milk. He is a sucker for the marked down bread at Kroger. He came home with a loaf of cinnamon bread. Today we were eating lunch and B-Daddy and I each had a piece of bread with butter for dessert. Em said "mom I want some bread with butt on it." I had to laugh and asked her to explain. She said "I want bread like you with butt on it." I said "butter on it?" She said yes "butt-er!" We were rolling!

Over view of our trip and pics from WDW day 2 and Breakfast at Chef Mickey's

Monday was our day of rest. We swam, rode down the lazy river and ate lunch at the pool. We had a good day of resting.

Tuesday we all went to Disney world. We rode the train, It's a small world, Pooh ride, Peter Pan, Carousel, and ate lunch with Pooh and friends. We had a great time. El wasn't too impressed with all the Characters. She cried every time a character came along. In some of the pictures it doesn't look too bad, it actually looks like she is smiling big. The babies left us after lunch and we went back and took some pictures at the props, we ran into Snow White and Dopey. Snow White gave A a kiss. He was smitten! We rode the roller coaster and Em just loved it. She said she was going to say "Ah" the whole time and she just loved it. We rode it again and she told me she was going to say "ah and raise her hands". She was so funny and loved the roller coaster.

On the way home I asked if the kids could ride in the front car of the Monorail with the driver. B-Daddy and the 3 kids rode in the front car. They had a great time.

On Wednesday we went straight to see the Princesses. We got to take pictures with all of them. We then went and saw Mickey and Minnie's house. We rode some more rides and watched the 3pm parade. We ended up coming home around 5 that day. B-daddy and I toke the girls swimming and played putt putt.

Today, Thursday, we had breakfast with Mickey and friends. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto. El cried and Em just loved it. Afterwards we went to Downtown Disney and bought souvenirs. We found a cool castle for Em. She had spotted it the first day that we went to Disney World. It is to pricey to give to her for a souvenirs so we are hiding it on the way home and giving it to her for Christmas. She told B-Daddy that she was willing to give back her doll house for it. That is big since her doll house is her favorite toy. We had a fun time on this vacation and are packing up to head home tomorrow.

Our First Day at Disney.

Our first day was Saturday the 6th. We got up and headed to Epcot first. When we got in we hit it lucky and were able to see all the characters and take pictures with them. The kids were so excited! We then headed over to see Nemo and friends, they have a ride that goes through and you watch Nemo and all his friends and you ride in a shell. After that we went to see Crush the talking turtle. He actually interacts with the audience and answers questions. He was funny! We then got on the monorail to try to go to MGM. The problem was that the monorail only goes to the Magic Kingdom, so from there we took the bus to MGM! Around the world in a day~! When we got to MGM we headed over to see the stunt show, but in the process we crossed the street where people were lining up to see Lightening McQueen and Mater. We were the last family to see them and take their picture. That was so God!! We happen to get in line just in time! EM was so excited!!

We headed back to our condo for a rest and then we went back to Magic Kingdom for the parade and the fireworks. We ended up not watching the 8pm parade and riding rides while the rest of the people watched. We watched the fireworks and got a great spot for the 2nd parade at 10pm. Needless to say we got home at midnight and all the kids were conked out! They were troopers! They had a great day!

Today we will be heading to Animal Kingdom and maybe Magic Kingdom again..if everyone else gets up soon! So far everyone else is still sleeping!

Blood, Sweat and Pain!

B-Daddy and I went to his new office and cleaned up some. We piled the stuff up that could be brought back and receive credit for and we picked up all the boards that would be useful to build a play house. They use so much wood for bracing and such that after they use it they just toss it. I told B-Daddy that we should save all the scraps and we could build a cool play house. So we loaded up his trailer and ended up with a load. Here are some pics. I think that we are going to have a 2-story play house!!

Where the blood and pain comes in is when I was helping B-Daddy carry a piece of Advantech (4' X 8') which weighs about 80lbs and is used to deck the floor on the 2nd story. I was walking with it and ended up running into a board with nails that was hanging off the trailer. If you look at the picture it is the longest board on the trailer. Needless to say I was done carrying boards after that!! I have a good goose egg on my knee now. I then swept out the nails and saw dust out of the office. I was good and sweaty after all this!

Have a great week! I am off of posting till the 14th. Thanks for reading!
